Superb videos of an Iconic ride. The lady that was interviewed in the first video was wrong though. She said it was the U.K's first coaster to go upside down. It wasn't....That accolade goes to the brilliant Revolution at none other, than Pleasure Beach Blackpool 8)

It was a great day, pitty it meant the end for the ride, but I guess we wouldn't have been there if it weren't closing!

Yep I was in the final public train, some ticket holders and press took a few trains after us. What I liked about that day was all the forums came together to mark the special day. It was good listening to people from other sites wanting to get the final ride and having a mad rush to get back round to get in the Q line.

Just noticed this topic...

I was never a big fan of the ride, hurt a bit, but I think its because I've not been around as long to appriciate it as much as others.

And im sorry to anyone who likes it, but Thirteen is a big pile of sh*t! Slow, boring and well yea....

....but anyone who likes it, its up to them! ;)
Going down to Bloomfield Road....To see the Blackpool Aces.... :D
