Good topic.

I can often listen to absolutely anything. Quite often I'll go through "phases" where I'll play nothing but my Sex Pistols stuff, Adam and the Ants (did you know he's back doing live shows again !!), or even Queen. However, when I'm not "into" Queen I find them to be just about the most annoying band that ever played !!

Of the newer stuff I absolutely love Amy MacDonald. Both her albums have been absolute belters.

However, my CD of choice in the car just now is....The Yakuza 3 soundtrack.

Quite often this list would change about a bit, but a few constants are always there so here are my top 10 songs of all time...

10) Invaders Must Die - Prodigy
09) Rise - Public Image Limited
08) Stand and Deliver - Adam and the Ants
07) Innuendo - Queen
06) Mis-Shapes - Pulp
05) Misconceptions - A/B Project
04) Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistols
03) Bodies - Sex Pistols
02) Mr Rock and Roll - Amy MacDonald
01) Linger - The Cranberries

Believe it or not it was the last concert I was ever at.

Musically SLF outplayed them by miles. However, for sheer noise and atmosphere the Sex Pistols were just an awesome sight. If I could turn back time and see a band at their peak it would definitely be them.

Well my music tastes are very varied..

I was a punk rocker at weekends only (Strict parents) and loved the Sex Pistols, Sham 69, The Ruts & The Clash

I then became what was a New Romantic and enjoyed Duran Duran, Blondie (seen them live) & The Human League
I then enjoyed Aha (seen them live) The Pet Shop Boys (seeing them in July)  Erasure and INXS.
Most recently I love listening to Paloma Faith due me meeting her last week I think she is amazing.

In between I love the Classics, the Beatles and Abba..

I like allsorts but am a rocker at  heart. Some  of my  fave ever bands are Kiss, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, AC DC and  many,  many more. I love 80's music and feel  that today's music is very  bland compared to the 80's.  One piece of music that I have loved and played to death since childhood is Jeff Wayne's  musical of War Of The Worlds, which features artists such as The Moody Blues,  Phil Lynot and David Essex. It was also amazingly narrated by Richard Burton.  Music has never been so entertaining since  this....On  a more recent note, I bought  Debbie the latest Florence And The  Machines cd and that is pretty good.

Save Ferris !

One of the best films of all time !!

Hear, hear. Ferris Buellers Day Off is an iconic comedy of the 80's. It has two amazing quotes/ One extremely funny "Cameron is so tight,  that if you stuck a lump a coal up his a..., it would come out a diamond."  and the other, thought provoking: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Superb film and a John Hughes classic.

Manchester Orchestra - Shake It Out

Anyone a fan of TNA iMPACT! will know this is from the show's promotional videos and their PPV highlights videos throughout 2009 & part of 2010. Such an incredible song, and the ending is one of the best I've heard.

Never saw you as an Opera buff Louise !

Today I've been stuck in retro mode all day long and most played has been the timeless 'classic' "Cuddly Toy" by Roachford...

Love it !
