Fairground Sound effects

Does anyone know the fairground sound effects they are used often on rides are they software or pre recoded by the operator?

A mixture.

Most are supplied on CD and showmen will use jingle software on either a laptop or a dedicated bit of hardware.

I use a soundboard app on my iPad when minding rides at the fair I work on.

You can usually buy a CD on eBay with 1000's of sounds on for £5/£10 too

Discosmash is widely used across the fairs across the uk and Europe as its stable and realiable especially the older type systems which used internal memory.

Some showman with a bit of extra cash ;) (cough cough Alex Crow) use this:-
