Bizarre Spanish Fair Rides
« on: March 14, 2011, 10:57:00 PM »
Has Anyone else seen/heard about these bizarre Spanish Fair rides, some of them don't look to safe, like the stand up Pirate ship where you are in a cage

A stand up Ranger/ Falling star

Some from here http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=55141

Are these rides safe, I don't think people would get away with them here

Any one been to there?

I've been on a fair few spanish rides, and whilst I seriously doubt any would appear over here they're not all that 'unsafe' feeling.

The stand up Pirate Ship is pretty terrifying I will admit, but it's something I'd happily do again, same with the stand up Rainbow.

Nope! It's simply a cage. Holding on is thoroughly recommended!

Sadly not, I've been on something very similar at the now defunct Parc Du Montjuic in Barcelona though. It wasn't fun.

They have the pirate ship ride in Gran Canaria, Holiday World.

I must admit it was fun being able to stand up, although I wouldn't advise jumpin :cursing: it wasn't even a full on jump, slight headache!
