Pleasure Beach 14/04/11
« on: April 14, 2011, 09:30:07 PM »
I ventured to the Pleasure Beach this afternoon with Louise, we bumped into Robbie Savage, a lovely bloke, I had a good chat with him for quite a long time.. :tongue_smilie:

He told me that he loved it in Blackpool, I thanked him on behalf of the Blackpool supporters for his nice comments about the club in the tabloids..
For those that dont know, Robbie has stuck up for Ian Holloway and Blackpool FC ALL season.. :thumbup1:

All the other pundits changed sides to suit..
Robbie reconised me as being on Sky Televisions Soccer AM last August.. :tongue_smilie:

First ride..

The Pepsi Max Big One... :w00t:

Louise..

Steeplechase.. :tongue_smilie:

Revolution..

Do I see a watering hole in the distance..?

Bloody vultures..

Pleasure Beach entertainment..Table Dancing.. :w00t:

Yes its a Hummer.. :tongue_smilie:

Park photographic photo shoot things, that people have their photos taken behind..

Ghost Train..

Lots of workman on site..

The park felt and looked amazing, there is so much going on, its quite amazing..

You can clearly see the huge investment, happy times for the park me thinks.. :thumbup1:

Did you tell Mr Savage that he needs a damned good haircut?

Seriously I like Robbie. He really entertains me as a pundit. The guy is infectious. I used to love to hate him as a player in his early days (playing for Crewe, which is a bit of a local derby game for the Shrews, we always gave him loads of stick!  ;))

I think it's great that he took time out to have a decent chat with you Peter.

Sometimes it must be hard for well known celebs who must get stopped every 5 seconds when they are out and about trying to live a normal life.

Can you imagine Wayne Woooney stopping like that for a photo and civilised conversation? (He'd fall at the 'civilised' hurdle in any case  ;))

Nice Report Peter  :thumbup1:

You always seem to be in the right place at the right time - Peter, You are becoming the Blackpool Paparazzi  :w00t: Nice to see you met Welsh Football Legend - Robbie Savage (he needs a haircut though )

Investment is key and BPB have grasped the opportunity in anyway possible  I'm sure the result will be big for the Amusement Park and the town of Blackpool  :)
