England V France it is then
« on: October 03, 2011, 01:23:14 AM »
So with New Zealand confirming top place by trouncing Canada, England face France on Saturday morning at 8.30am.

By then the winners will already know who they face in the semi-final as Ireland play Wales at 6am. Not sure I will be awake to witness that one, though I would dearly love to be as I reckon it will be one hell of a game.

I expect England to beat an out of sorts French side. I know we haven't been at our best, but the French seem well below par.

The semi final is the following Saturday at 9am. Town are at Crawley that day. Not sure we can leave at 11am and get to Sussex in time  :(

England were quite dismal for a lot of their game but pulled through somehow. Wilkinson's series of misses was shocking

If France keep up their erratic form, England stand a good chance, though.
