Pleasure Beach Report 7/05/12
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:13:30 PM »
Bank Holiday Monday in Blackpool and a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.. :tongue_smilie:

Just had to be done.. :thumbup1:

The weather for the day was very hit and miss, but I wanted to put my new camera through its paces, quite pleased with the results to be honest..its a Hyper Zoom camera that can shoot pictures in High Definition and would you believe 3D.. :tongue_smilie:

Valhalla is open for business.. :thumbup1:

It looks superb..

We went on the Derby racers, quite a strange thing happened..sorry to say that the ride op on at 2pm made himself look a bit of an idiot..as the ride had started he was shouting over the microphone for somebody to hold the bar and not the horses reins..fair enough you might think, but the microphone was too close to his lips and his voice was distorted..he sounded like a Dalek..He then E Stopped the ride and made it stop, he then told everybody that they must leave as it was broken.. Absolute nonsense...it ruined the experience for people..the ride was running 10 minutes later, he was just upset that he wasn't heard..

Ice Blast..

Infusion..

Zoom is quite remarkable..this was shot at 75%.. :tongue_smilie:

One sexy coaster..

The Iron Bru Revolution becomes The Revolution with immediate effect..its Silver and the cars will be Red.. :thumbup1:

The Dodgems.. :thumbup1:

Sighs...

The Pleasure Beach will be showcased on Live In Blackpool in a very professional way, with quality updates through out the season..
We have something very special lined up that no other site has got as it concentrates on doing the same old stuff, and we plan to display very unique images from Britains most loved theme park.. :thumbup1:

I think your new camera has a lot of potential :thumbup1: There are some great photos there. Some of them show a much higher resolution and clarity and it will be interesting to see how the colour depth handles different scenes and situations.  The shot of Infusion upside down is just superb, sir 8)

Bloody hell Pete lad, you could have made an effort and dressed up a bit. To be fair, I didn't realise how you'd let yourself go!  ;)

Thanks slacker, just made me smile having watched 'Pool fail so agonisingly. Hopefully Peter will be able to do the same when he sees it.
