LightWater Valley Theme Park Report 2/09/12

Situated in Rippon North Yorkshire  Lightwater Theme Park is  only 90 minutes from Blackpool.. :thumbup1: and its worth a visit..  :thumbup:




Its been 5 years sine our last visit, it has changed quite a lot.. :thumbup1:











But..it is home to THE ULTIMATE  THE Longest Coaster in Europe.. :tongue_smilie:













Lovely views of the countryside.. :thumbup1:







I really enjoyed eating here.. :tongue_smilie:

Bradley could not find his carvery voucher.. :rolleyes:



Yorkshire Puddings... :tongue_smilie:

Thanks for the report mate...

I don't know what it is but i get a feeling that the theme park just shouldn't be there, just doesn't feel right judging by the photos.

It does look out of place doesn't it?

Makes you wonder how they got planning permission in the first place.

Anyway what is all that roast din dins about Peter? I thought the whole attracion with Lightwater was that you could picnic there unlike BPB - missed opportunity?

It reminds me very much of loudoun castle with its similar surroundings and some of the old rides (the black pearl,pirate boats and circular barrel type ride).The water slide with the blow up sit in boats looks similar to the one that used to be at pleasureland many moons ago
