Hi all,

My film scanner died last week and I've just taken possession of a shiny new one, which will not only do my 35mm stuff but also my 120 roll film negs and slides.  And just to get you excited I've been given over 100 old b/w photos of Blackpool from 1968/9.  Taken for an estate agent they are all of properties - the first few I've looked at are all from the town centre featuring long-gone shops.  To tie in with another thread, there's one of the UCP shop and restaurant that occupied the spot now taken by Nandos, formerly Clarkes Shoes.

I'll post a few here when I get a chance to scan them, and I've got permission to put them all up at Flickr.

I've just been updating myself on your blog John (well, last night).

That sure is a mighty sized box for your little scanner

Look forward to seeing these when you have done them  :thumbup1:
