50 Year old asked for ID..!
« on: October 01, 2013, 02:37:34 PM »

Charles Brown initially thought a cashier at Morrisons was joking when she asked whether he was over 25.

But eventually a manger had to be called to sort out the problem.

After some convincing, the dad-of-three managed to buy a bottle of Grant’s whisky from the store.

“There is no way I look 24 when I’ve got a daughter at 30, a son at 28 and my youngest at 17”

Charles, of Bradley, West Yorks, said the same thing happened two years ago at a different supermarket.

He said: “There is no way I look 24 when I’ve got a daughter at 30, a son at 28 and my youngest at 17.”

A spokesman for Morrisons said: “We have a policy of asking for identification from anyone who doesn’t look over 25.

“We hope that Mr Brown took the request as a compliment.”
