Pizza Hut - Blackpool Pleasure Beach
« on: August 29, 2014, 11:47:38 PM »
Whilst visiting last week, my family and I and friends, had lunch at the Pizza Hut at the Pleasure Beach.  I have to admit that we were not impressed at all  :cursing:

We arrived there between 2 and 3 pm and no one seemed to be keeping an eye on the door. It took a long time to be greeted and seated and to be honest, this set the pace for our lunch experience. We waited a long time for our order to be taken, for it to arrive and the choice on offer didn't seem much and was in sparse quantities. (We had opted for the all you can eat buffet.)  Clearly, the larger choice was for the customers who were paying more money.

I feel I have no choice but to compare this to our Pizza And Pasta experiences when we visit the Merlin parks, such as Chessington and Legoland.  They seem to offer more variety and can clearly handle large visitor numbers more efficiently...

The reason of our bad experience was seemingly not enough staff. A real shame as when we arrived, it was very busy. Perhaps someone was sick? Who knows...but our experience was not a good one and it's the poorest Pizza Hut experience I have yet to encounter.

Chris.

Chris we had exactly the same experience, we waited around 15 minutes and then told the Manager why we are walking out..He spoke with an overseas accent, he actually followed us out  with his voice slightly raised..

We had a chat with the catering Manager and they invited us to dine for FREE at another restaurant.. :tongue_smilie: :tongue_smilie:
