Does it put you off
« on: June 03, 2015, 08:55:58 PM »
Reading recently about the terrible accident at alton towers where 16 people were seriously injured apparently one losing a leg, I was wondering if this kind of thing puts people off going on rides, accidents are very rare and rides at all top theme parks are tested and checked regularly but there are cases of accidents happening . I myself think no matter what you do in life there is a possibility of accidents happening, driving, going on a bus in a taxi even at work things happen so things like this at alton towers doesn't put me off .

Definitely not, no.

You only have to see how many car crashes that occur yet people still get in a car daily.

No, not at all. Of course, it's natural to be concerned and it's awful what has happened. Safety will be heightened and the ride made even safer.

Will just have to see if it opens again and when.

I do hope this doesn't mean the end of it.
