Turn round a carriage on Roller? No chance.

Firstly, (imo) its a daft idea, secondly it wouldnt really do anything to get extra custom into the park and finally it would result in PB having to re-write there manual(s) for Roller.

Its a bad idea imo and I cant see PB ever bothering with an idea such as that one.
City is their name, City is their name, won naff all since Elvis died, City is their name!

I'm not assuming the park would ever do it, it's just an idea...thats all - daft or not!

I also wouldn't expect the pleasure beach to advertise it much to try and bring custom in, word of mouth alone would achieve that to get people to give it a go and I think most would. In fact...Loads!!

I know it would be a lot more than simply just turning a carriage around the other way to make it operate safely. It would be quite a task and have to satisfy the HSE fully which would mean the rollercoaster engineers having to add a totally different designed carriage to the rest. But the expense and effort put in (in my opinon) would justify the effort made to achieve this as it would attract visitors for sure.

Given the choice between a "Twist and Splash" ride or a backwards Rollercoaster, I think I know what most would rather go on for a white knuckle thrill  ;)

Thanks Pinball, I dont have any information on Nick Land (Sadly.. :() I dont know what they are doing with the station at all.

I will be getting updates though over the dark Winter months, but if I get told to stop photographing by the Pleasure Beach, I will have to stop.

I hope not Pinball, I was asked by a Security officer last year to stop photographing the sculptures.
To be honest I was walking inside the gate (that was open) and I said fine.

I dont want to be falling on the wrong side of the park.

I have been whispered that a perimeter wall might be removed during the works, I am not sure if this is True, but with a heavy zoom I should be able to get some very good updates.

But if the park tell me to stop out of respect, I will sadly stop..

Agreed, I wasn't impressed when I saw it!

Was on park Tue-Wed, work continues on RollerCoaster, the inside of the station roof has been completly ripped out, its down to the wooden boards. A lot of the sheeting has now been removed, but evidence of digging is clear between the lift and station. Testing of some sort was taking place on the bolts on the lift structure, they were all being painted to make it clear they have been tested, and timber replacment was taking place on the appraoch to the 3rd drop behind Space Invader. I believe Space Invader is being used to store wood and other building materials for the ride.

The new loos are open in the South Cableway building and while they are not in keeping with the other PB toilets, they are very smart.
